Battersea Power Station, Interiors
Location: Battersea, London, UK.
Size: 253 apartments.
Battersea Power Station is the largest brick building in Europe and one of the most significant surviving examples of Art Deco architecture. This iconic Grade II listed building now houses 253 individual luxury apartments, bringing life back into one of London’s most famous landmarks.
Ranging from studio apartments to five-bedroom penthouses, residents also have access to a large rooftop garden located above one of the building's historic turbine halls offering views to the River Thames and city skyline.
The interior palettes were inspired by historical features and design details from the 1930s and 1950s, when the Power Station was originally built. With exposed brickwork, industrial steel windows and brass detailing, the refurbished Battersea Power Station now homes some of the most unique apartments in the world. With Michaelis Boyd Associates and WilkinsonEyre Architects.
